The first and only platform promoting women‘s leadership in the field of biotechnology in Lithuania. Our project kindly invites all participants – whether you are a young researcher, student, entrepreneur, or professional in this field with the slogan „True Stories – True Leaders“ this year.
Four leaders in the biotechnology sector from the United States will share and invite extraordinary success stories during a series of events from September 29 to October 20. During the events, there will also be an opportunity to gain closer experience of the representatives of the Lithuanian biotechnology sector – there will be an interactive discussion with them and the participants of the event.
On the first event, WOMEN IN BIOTECH: MEET THE LEADERS, which starts on September 29, Amy Butler, President of Biosciences at Thermo Fisher Scientific will share a story about her successful career and challenges in one of the biggest biotechnology corporations in the world.
Although ,,Women in Biotech“, as its name suggests, focuses on women’s leadership, the initiator of the project, the Lithuanian Biotechnology Association promises that everyone interested in the biotechnology sector and about the opportunities that await will be able to find useful information at the events.
Joining the Women in Biotech platform this year is very easy, you don’t even have to get up from the couch or workplace – due to COVID-19 constraints, events will be broadcast online this year.
