Patenting strategies in the life science
METIDA, together with the Lithuanian biotechnology association and VILNIUS TECH "LinkMenų fabrikas" invites to a free workshop: “Patenting strategies in the life science”, during which we will discuss how ideas and discoveries in pharmacy, biotechnology, medical engineering, and
other life sciences turn into innovations and how to protect those innovations. We will talk about the role of intellectual property in biotechnology: from the protection of a new idea to the commercialization and realization of that idea. Intellectual property in biotechnology companies can be a key asset for a company and a value generator. Still, intellectual property in a business is worthless if it is not effectively managed. This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn about patenting strategies in the international arena, learn more about the commercialization of inventions, ways to protect them, and learn how you can take advantage of funding programs to protect your intellectual property.
