The annual growth of the Lithuanian life sciences sector is 19%, which is one of the most rapid growth paces across the European Union. Bioeconomy is a part of economy that produce renewable raw materials (biomass) and processes these raw materials and biowaste into value-added products – food, feed, industrial products, bioenergy. LBTA participates in national bioeconomy strategy development and implementation.
